The BBC is reporting that Bomb blasts rock Iraqi churches: "Bombs have gone off near four churches in the Iraqi capital and one in the northern city of Mosul, police say. "

These terrorists are at war with God and we are on the front lines. By definition, a terrorist has no aims other than wreaking chaos and inspiring fear regardles of the guise they don. They are in league with the un-Holy as these attacks further prove. Killing innocent, unarmed people yesterday when they were simply trying to do good if proof enough. Attacking churches is too much. Using mosques as cover to shoot civilians and those trying to defend the rights of civilians further crosses the line.

Are coalition forces (i.e., the United States) blameless in the chaos? No and no. Not only are mistakes made, but individuals can (and do) go bad. In U.S. courts any combination of means, motive, and opportunity is usually enough to lay blame. Invading Iraq was dumb. Not doing it properly was dumber. Now we are paying the price for first giving terrorists motive and then opportunity. Our punishment is now the blood of innocents on our hands. Yes ... our hands. The terrorists are doing the dirty work but we didn't have to help.

To whomever is in charge: Go in harder, get it done, and get out. And when the devil once more knocks on the door, don't open it again. Despite our stupidity, compared to terrorists as a whole, its easy to see which side of the line each stands on. America may not be the shining city on the hill that we aim to be, but at least we aren't purposefully trying to open the gates of Hell.
