Spot, the Grammar Goof

Gruesome Ratings Plague "Night Stalker": "The original Night Stalker, which also aired on ABC, starred Darren McGavin as vampire-killing newsman Carl Kolchak. Loved a lot by those who loved it, the show nonetheless was a stiff of the 1974-75 season, buried in the Nielsen race by Angie Dickinson and Police Woman." (From a report by Joal Ryan as seen at Yahoo! News).
Looks like Spot is out of the backyard again and causing more goofs. Did you see it?

Okay, maybe Mr. Ryan was bored stiff. There were only two things I found interesting in the whole episode. One: the new Ford Mustang. Not only is it attractive, but apparently it has the ability to heal scrapes and gouges between scenes. Two: for about 15 seconds I could swear I saw Darren McGavin composited into a newsroom scene.

Neither one of these attractions are sufficient to make me sit through another episode. Sorry, but it had promise. Blending in elements of The Fugitive plot was a nice idea, but that's not enough to carry the poor acting and even poorer writing.
